Lydia Tracy's first acting job was the Nicholas Sparks back door pilot, Deliverance Creek for Lifetime (2014). She has also done several national commercials and loves acting, singing and dance. She is also in another SXSW film in 2017, Infinity Baby, by Dir. Bob Byington. She sings her way through life, feeds the family chickens and keeps everyone around her smiling.
Jolie Vanier is an actress known for Shorts (2009), and From Dusk Till Dawn (2016). Jolie grew up in a family intensely involved with the fine arts, and as young girl garnered leading roles in local children's theatre groups such as Childsplay and Desert Stages.
Chasing Grace is Julia's directorial debut. Now Austin-based, Julia worked in New York City as an actress on numerous TV series, most recently as Heidi Bell on the hit show, "Nashville". When Julia isn't acting she produces high-profile events and touring shows for the African Children's Choir. Her play, "Modern Missionary", inspired by her relief and development work in East Africa, won best play at the NYC Fringe Festival in 2006 and is now in development as a feature film.
Van graduated from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music with a degree in musical theater, and has enjoyed performing in productions across the country. Favorite leading roles include the Phantom, Jesus (Jesus Christ Superstar), LM (Pumpboys & Dinettes), Danny (Grease), Pharaoh (Joseph & the A.D.C), and Henry Higgins (My Fair Lady). Van has also appeared in commercials and film, and is thrilled not only at the opportunity to be a part of this project, but even more so at the chance to be working on it with his wife Julia (Writer & Director) and his two kids Lydia and Zander
Zander has had a lot of fun acting in commercials for Home Depot, KFC, Pedernales Electric, and Babies-R-Us, as well as the films "Free Candy" and "It's not Complicated". Zander is very proud of his Mom for making this short film!
Mayra started her career as an actor and a fashion model in Houston and Dallas in 1997 and lived and worked in Chicago and NYC until 2014 when she moved outside of Austin, TX., with her husband and two children. Her career has included many fashion runways, print ads, and national commercials. After moving back to Texas she expanded her resume to include production and costume design.
